"I wish I had learned this when I was a kid."

The resources in this post are community focused. If you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, or ANYONE that interacts with children there's something for you. We're really excited about this find from Gahmya (pronounced ‘Juh-me-yuh’) Drummond-Be, the founder of "Evolved Teacher" and "Kid YOUniversity."

Gahmya writes-

"I wish I would have learned how to find my purpose when I was younger."

"I wish I would have learned how to network and build authentic relationships with others when I was younger."

"I wish I would have learned ways to protect my energy when I was younger."

"I wish I would have learned about entrepreneurship and money management when I was younger."

Sound familiar?

In my curriculum, I began to teach five year olds philosophy and paragraph writing. Why? Because they were motivated by knowing that if they could write, they could write their own books and share their knowledge.

Gahmya's message rings true for us, so we did some research to bring you some of our favorite resources from Gaymya Drummond-Be. Skip to whatever section is calling you, and leave behind whatever tools or resources aren't your jam. Enjoy!

BLOG: Kid YOUniversity 👉🏼 https://www.kidyouniversity.com/blog

This blog is chock-full of simple ideas to start using right away. Three posts I thought were especially useful were "3 Tips for Raising Inclusive Children," "Helping Children to Build Healthy Friendships," and "Initiating Daily Conversations with Kids." It was extremely hard to pick just 3! SERIOUSLY. Check out her blog.
